Our Story
A sanctuary born from love — for every seeker, in the heart of New York City.
Our founder
Paramahamsa Vishwananda
Born in Mauritius, Paramahamsa Vishwananda has been guiding seekers on the path of bhakti since his earliest years. Rooted in the Vaishnava tradition, his teaching is simple, direct, and full of love: "Love God, love yourself, love others."
From the international ashram at Shree Peetha Nilaya in Germany, his teachings — including Atma Kriya Yoga — have reached practitioners across the globe. Bhakti Marga NYC brings this living tradition to the heart of New York.

Our Values
Love
Bhakti means devotion — love as the path itself. Everything we offer is an expression of love for the divine, for community, and for life.
Authenticity
We teach lineage-rooted practices transmitted from teacher to student over generations — not wellness trends, but living wisdom.
Inclusivity
The path of the heart is open to all. Regardless of background, experience, or belief — you are welcome exactly as you are.
Transformation
We hold space for real inner change — not just relaxation, but the deep work of knowing yourself and coming home to your true nature.
The people behind the practice
Our Teachers
Each of our teachers brings years of dedicated practice and a genuine passion for sharing the path.
Everything that you are looking for is inside of you, not outside.
